Decora Demon

Monique (known as Decora Demon) is a Los Angeles based artist who’s work highlights Japanese Fashion—specifically Decora fashion originating from Harajuku fashion district. The goal of their art is to highlight the many facets of those who wear the fashion and delve deeper into the world of alternative and punk fashions.

Monique works with Los Angeles based Harajuku fashion meet up group/market “Harajuku Day LA”, and co-created “International Decora Day” in 2023, a day to celebrate Decora fashion with the whole world, with fellow Decora fashion artist Kamilah Jones (a.k.a Hard Decora).
